Not since my rapid exit from Dell after the MessageOne acquisition have I commuted to an office to work, and so today marked a return to that time honored tradition, albeit a very different wrinkle on things. First, there’s not another soul in the office I work in. Second, I rode my bike to the office. And third, it was cold inside and outside of the office. But overall the day was great. I could focus on the tasks at hand, I rode my bike to and from work and to and from lunch, and went home with a distinct sense of accomplishment. Working at home is cool, but it doesn’t offer the boundaries that an office provides.
